I don’t want to jump the shark here, but there is a fenomenon going on within barstool sports. Now I’m not a capital J Journalist, but I follow enough barstool to recognize when something is lit. The idea is what the kids are calling group think. Where contributors and followers cease to come up with original ideas or content. I don’t want you to think I’m not for the boys, but flow of fresh comedy from many barstool writers and followers is as dead as Harambe. The idea that anyone that religiously reads barstool could come up and create original content? For sure not. It’s not their fault. Barstool and their personalities are so well formulated, that their followers leave their personalities at the door and parrot whatever Big Cat or PFT’s new joke is that month. Original thought? DEAD! I realize this isn’t revolooshonary. Dave has said for years that they’re looking for original content and not people that repeat their own words back to them. Seriously guys. FIGURE IT OUT!
